When I set up a fundraiser for a friend’s emergency expenses. After reaching the goal, I attempted to transfer the funds, but GoFundMe flagged the account for additional verification. Despite submitting all requested documents, the funds remained inaccessible, and communication from their support was nonexistent. I found some user experiences on gofundme that suggested contacting the Better Business Bureau or seeking legal advice. I filed a complaint through the BBB, and within a week, GoFundMe finally responded and released the funds.
