I think it’s perfectly fine to let him color at his own pace. Forcing him to stick to the lines can ruin the fun. You can gently encourage careful coloring by offering small tasks or simpler pages with lots of objects, but overall, it’s okay to let him be creative and work quickly. Over time, his control and attention to detail will improve naturally.
