ParticipantWhat red flags should brokers watch for when choosing lead providers, and have you had any experiences where a supposedly “good” auto transport lead service turned out to be a disappointment?

ParticipantOne big red flag is when a provider promises huge volumes of leads for a very low price, which usually means poor quality or recycled contacts. Also, if they can’t clearly explain where and how they source their leads, that’s a bad sign. In my own experience, I’ve seen services that looked trustworthy at first but turned out to be among the worst auto transport leads providers because the data was outdated or shared with way too many brokers. It’s always smart to test a small batch first and see how responsive the leads really are before committing to a big spend.

ParticipantYes, I completely agree. Promises of huge volumes of cheap leads are almost always a red flag — they usually mean low quality, outdated, or recycled data. And if a provider won’t be transparent about how they source their leads, that’s a major warning sign. Testing a small sample first is definitely the smartest move to gauge responsiveness and quality before investing heavily. That cautious approach can save a lot of wasted time and money.

ParticipantFrom my experience, big red flags are recycled leads, no clear exclusivity, and zero transparency about sources. If a provider can’t explain where leads come from, that’s usually trouble. I’ve dealt with a “top-rated” service that sent outdated requests and wasted time. I even ended up digging into unrelated things like how to contact Ryze Claim Solutions just to verify legitimacy. Lesson learned: always test small before scaling.
