I have an Exmark Radius S 60″ lawn mower with 34 hours on it. This season, after about 20 hours of use, I installed the factory mulching kit and noticed that after installing the kit, the mower runs more intensively, but now I can’t engage the PTO at low RPMs without the engine stalling. Is this related to the mulching kit or is it a faulty belt?

This is standard practice for high-power mowers, especially with mulchers. However, if everything was perfect before installing the kit, it’s worth checking the belt drive as well. Due to increased resistance, a worn or stretched belt can slip or overload the spindles.
