I’ve been thinking a lot about how differently people experience addiction and how hard it can be to recognize the problem early on. Some notice it right away, while others only understand it much later when things start falling apart.
For those who’ve gone through it personally or supported someone who has — what were the first signs that made you realize something wasn’t right?
Was it behavior, mood changes, daily routines, or something else entirely?
Just trying to get a better picture from real stories rather than generic articles.
