We are a Filipino couple living overseas and considering getting legally married in Georgia. We have heard the process is quick and recognized internationally. Has anyone here done it recently? We want to avoid embassy delays and keep things simple but official.

My cousin and her fiancé, both Filipinos living in the UAE, got married in Georgia earlier this year. The process was smooth and their marriage certificate was accepted without any issues once they returned. They used https://leto.wedding/ to handle translations, legal paperwork, and scheduling. The team knew how to prepare Filipino documents for submission to Georgian authorities and even arranged a small ceremony in a scenic location.

We are exploring the same option. Georgia does seem much simpler than dealing with embassies or long waiting times back home. Our main concern is ensuring the marriage will be valid in the Philippines and recognized by immigration offices abroad. We are still checking the required documents.

If you decide to move forward with Georgia, I’d definitely suggest getting in touch with the planners early so they can guide you through the paperwork. For us, having professionals who already understood both Georgian requirements and Filipino documents made the whole process stress-free. They even coordinated the ceremony details while we were still abroad, so all we had to do was arrive and enjoy the day. If you want, I can share the exact checklist they gave us. It saved us a lot of time.
