So I’ve got a 2018 Wrangler that started making this low rumble and occasional vibration through the floor when I’m cruising around 100-120 km/h on the way to Sweihan. Took it to a shop near my place in Khalifa City and they told me it’s the rear driveshaft, but when I asked them to show me the play they just shrugged and said “trust me bro”. I really don’t want to drop two grand on a driveshaft if it’s just a worn transfer case bushing or even just tires out of balance. What I need is a Reliable Jeep Workshop Abu Dhabi where they actually put the car on a lift and diagnose things properly before quoting. I don’t mind paying a bit more for labour if they know the difference between a TJ and a JL – you’d be surprised how many general garages here don’t even know how to check the torque on a Wrangler’s control arms. Has anyone had a good experience with a place in Mussafah or nearby that really understands Jeep driveline noises? I’m half tempted to just start replacing parts myself but I don’t have a lift at home. Appreciate any leads.
