Hello! I want to monitor competitor landing pages from different countries because offers, banners, prices, and forms can change by location. The task is not heavy scraping, but I need the regional view to be accurate. Would you use residential proxies for this from the start, or test cheaper proxy types first if the pages are public and easy to open without login or checkout steps? later when the workflow grows.

I’d benchmark ColdProxy over the same competitor URLs from several locations and compare forms, banners, prices, and redirects. Residential proxies are safer when pages change by trust level, location, or traffic source. Cheaper proxy types can be tested later for pages that show the same content consistently. If the regional view is wrong, the monitoring setup is just producing misleading data. This is not about opening the page; it is about seeing the version users in that market would see.
