ParticipantHello, fellow realtors! I have a seller who is willing to take photos of the interior of his home but doesn’t want to post them on third-party sites. I know this could certainly impact the price and timing of the sale, but I just don’t know how to approach this.
Should I respectfully request that he use the photos online, or, if it concerns the privacy of valuables, remove them, etc.? He said he’s only willing to share photos with pre-approved buyers. I’m looking for advice or creative solutions on how to do this correctly. -

ParticipantYou find yourself in a difficult, but common, situation. Restricting access to interior photos can reduce interest and the number of offers, but it’s possible to find a balance between privacy and marketing. One approach is to offer a controlled virtual tour. Create professional photos or a short video, but share them only via a secure link with serious buyers or their agents.

ParticipantIf a seller is concerned about privacy, there are ways to effectively bring the house to the market without publishing sensitive internal photographs. For example, use a Sacramento real estate photographer to take professional photos of major areas such as the kitchen, living room and backyard, who removes or staining precious goods and personal items. You can also create a password-reserved gallery or virtual tour for only pre-eminent buyers. This approach respects the privacy of the seller by attracting serious buyers.

ParticipantIf the seller still wants their items presented in a top-notch manner, teaming up with a skilled photographer in Boston might be the missing piece. A pro can create high-quality photos that accurately showcase products from every angle, helping you move forward with confidence.
