While preparing for Zscaler Certifications, I realized something important. It’s not about how advanced the platform is, it’s about how well you understand the Zero Trust mindset.

These certifications like ZTCA, ZDTA, and ZDTE are designed to validate real skills on the Zscaler platform, especially around cloud security and Zero Trust architecture, not just basic theory.

Here are the biggest mistakes I made at the start:

Jumping into advanced topics without mastering basics
Ignoring how Zero Trust concepts actually work in practice
      Not practicing enough scenario-based questions
      Skipping revision of confusing areas

Once I slowed down and focused on understanding how the platform works in real environments, things became much clearer.

I found some useful practice questions here from CertBoosters…

After adding regular practice into my routine, I started recognizing patterns in questions and felt much more confident.

If you’re preparing for Zscaler Certifications, don’t rush. Build a strong base and then focus on applying it.

What mistakes did you guys make while preparing?
