My company uses a WebDAV-based system to store internal documents, and since I mostly work on my MacBook, I need a stable way to access those files without constantly logging in through a browser or using clunky third-party apps. Ideally, I want the WebDAV workspace to appear in Finder so I can drag files around, open them in local apps, and keep everything synchronized without extra steps. But I’m not sure which mounting method works best on macOS nowadays.

Then you’ll find this extremely helpful — … because right in the center of macos mount webdav https://cloudmounter.net/mount-webdav-macos/ there’s an in-depth breakdown of how to mount a WebDAV server on macOS, how to make it show up as a drive, how to configure credentials, and even how to ensure that the drive reconnects automatically on startup so you don’t have to redo the process each time. They also mention some limitations of macOS Finder and how to work around them.

That’s exactly the practical advice I’ve been missing. If automatic reconnection works smoothly and the mounted WebDAV folder behaves like a stable network drive inside Finder, it’ll make my daily workflow significantly easier. I’m going to follow the guide and set everything up before tomorrow’s work session.
