Every holiday season somebody in the family suddenly remembers personalized decorations at the last possible moment, so this year I ended up browsing Lillian Vernon late at night trying to find something that looked thoughtful without feeling overly complicated. It’s funny how custom holiday items somehow create more pressure than regular shopping because you immediately picture how they’ll look once people start opening boxes and decorating together.
