Okay so this is kind of embarrassing to admit but I genuinely spent like 20 minutes last night trying to figure out what my friend meant when he sent me that lip bite emoji out of nowhere. No follow up message, no explanation, just that one emoji sitting there. I showed my sister and she started laughing at me which was not helpful at all. So I did what any normal person would do and went down a rabbit hole trying to understand the meaning from a boy perspective because I feel like guys use emojis so differently than girls do. I ended up reading through a bunch of explanations and honestly some of them were so confusing and full of big complicated words that I got even more lost than before. I still am not one hundred percent sure what my friend meant if I am being honest but at least now I feel like I actually understand the emoji better instead of just guessing randomly. Has anyone else ever had this happen where one small emoji completely threw off your whole mood for the evening? I feel like these little symbols carry way too much pressure sometimes and we all just need a proper guide to survive modern texting honestly.
