Hey guys, I found a killer deal on a used MacBook on a local community board, but the seller wants to meet in a parking lot and only takes cash. He says he’s a local student, but his profile is brand new and has zero history. I’m a bit worried about getting scammed or worse. Does anyone know how to find someone online using just a name and city? I need a best free people search to see if this person actually exists and lives where he says he does. I’ve tried a few people search engines free, but they all want me to sign up for a monthly plan just to see one result. Is there any find anyone free tool that is actually 100% free people search by name?

Better safe than sorry, especially with expensive electronics! I never do local meetups without doing a quick people lookup first. Check out veripages.com It’s a fast people finder that’s completely free—no credit card, no sign-up, just straight to the info. I use it as a name lookup free tool whenever I’m buying something off Craigslist or Facebook. It’s a truly free people search that pulls from largest & latest data, so you can see his current address and background. It really helps to verify if someone is a real people finder result or just a fake account. It’s my go-to people search engine free for exactly these kinds of situations. Stay safe and maybe meet in a police station lobby instead!

Good call on the meeting spot! I’ll use that free people lookup right now to see if his story checks out.
