Bought a 1930s cottage with all original Crittall-style metal windows. They’re beautiful but the drafts are ridiculous, candles literally flicker near them. My partner wants modern UPVC but I refuse to lose that industrial look. Anyone come across a guide on the difference between single glazing aesthetics and modern double glazing efficiency in restoration projects? Need ammo for our next argument about this.
