I like the idea of using one set of tires through different seasons, especially because changing and storing two sets can be inconvenient. At the same time, Edmonton has much colder winter conditions than many places. I am wondering whether all-weather tires offer a reasonable balance for everyday driving or whether dedicated winter tires still make more sense.
